What data we collect
This website has no accounts, tracking scripts, advertising cookies or analytics.
If you submit an enquiry using the contact form on this website, the form is provided by Microsoft Forms (part of Microsoft 365). The information you enter — typically your name, email address, and the details of your enquiry — is collected and held by Microsoft on our behalf and delivered to our Microsoft 365 mailbox.
If you choose to email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, plus any details you choose to share with us.
How we use your data
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not:
- Add you to any mailing list without your explicit, separate consent
- Share your data with third parties except as required to operate our email, website and contact form
- Use your data for marketing without consent
Our legal basis
We process the details you submit on the basis of legitimate interests, specifically responding to a request you have initiated.
How we store your data
Enquiry responses are held in our Microsoft 365 mailbox. The contact form is provided by Microsoft Forms and is subject to Microsoft's data handling terms in addition to ours. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental loss, unauthorised access or disclosure.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter, unless a longer retention period is required by law or you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing
- Request restriction of processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office if you believe we have handled your data unlawfully.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. If you use the light/dark toggle, your choice is saved in your own browser's local storage so the site remembers it; it is not sent to us. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. If this changes, this policy will be updated and appropriate consent mechanisms added.
Third parties
This website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel's infrastructure processes requests to serve the site; please refer to Vercel's privacy policy for details of their data handling. Fonts are self-hosted by Next.js with no runtime requests to Google.
The contact form is provided by Microsoft Forms (part of Microsoft 365). Information submitted through the form is processed by Microsoft in accordance with Microsoft's privacy statement. We use Microsoft solely as a data processor to deliver enquiries to our mailbox; we do not use the data for any other purpose.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated on this page with an updated date.
